These thoughts follow on from the Musing on Perception content. More about how we connect rather than how we feel. I’m thinking community and networks here, that can function at various levels of scale and complexity of gestalt.
We start with a humble nerve cell, the neuron. When our neuron is excited, it is able to fire off electrical signals, labelled ‘action potentials’ out to the network of which it forms part. Sensory neurons respond to stimuli such as light, sound or touch. Motor neurons receive signals from the brain and spinal cord, regulating a range of activity across the body, from muscular to glandular activity. Interneurons enable a regional connection of their neuron neighbours. Now picture in your mind, a 3D model of a transparent human brain showing myriad neurons all doing their thing in real time.
Now we scale up to view our planet on a large screen, with billions of humans going about their daily activity. For sure, the human body is a marvel of living interactive systems and more complex than a neuron, yet I can draw an analogy of scaling up a human mind to a planetary mind. Now we venture into the territory of what has been labelled ‘systems thinking’. A critical criteria of which is to be able to switch one’s attention back and forth between various levels. In doing so, it is possible to find systems nesting in other systems, along the way gaining valuable insights. For a systems thinker, relationships become primary. When I apply this to my own learning, nature is my teacher. When we see a relationship between the leaves, twigs, branches and a trunk, we call it a tree. When we draw a tree, most of us will not draw the roots, yet they form an expansive part of the tree. In a forest, the roots of trees are interconnected forming no precise boundaries between individual trees.
Me being me, I have the urge to go multi-dimensional with this thinking. I would begin with the position that energy and consciousness are capable of transitioning between dimensions, an open system. I started getting interested in synchronicity back when the band ‘The Police’ came out with an album of the same name. Once you start recognising meaningful co-incidence, its a bit like a tube of ‘Pringles’ “once you pop you just can’t stop!” Oh, and the incidences increase. Alongside dreaming, I have found synchronicity to be an excellent tool for multi-dimensional connection. With some application and perseverance, anyone can get the hang of a lucid dream, where you are the director as well as the principle actor, then you are “cooking on gas” in terms of what you can do with dreams. With our growing understanding of DNA, this is where family history enters stage left. Even with just two strands connected, we carry within traits of our parents and grandparents, then going way back in ever decreasing traces. Once we understand how the ‘junk DNA’ connects, expect some interesting enhancements in our ability to connect outside the agreed construct of linear time.
Switching back to our neuron as a human concept, the energy connections are no longer limited within a 3D space/time environment. Everything is connected, but without the barrier of limiting belief that conditions us as we grow and our neurons develop from their stem cells. This has the potential to be a paradigm shift in terms of our evolution. The latent energetic connections briefly available via altered states of consciousness (Lucid Dreaming, Channelling, Deja Vu, Synchronicity, ect.) transform to conscious links. Not only would there be the possibility of energy connections with ancestors, also connections with ‘other selves’ incarnations of our ‘greater self gestalt’ that each individual personality forms a part of. These incarnations being in the ‘past’ or ‘future’ of our current life experience, with the proviso that all are experiencing concurrently rather than being in a linear timeline. This then raises the scenario for each individual personality to be able to share life lessons with other selves in a way which may help them out of a metaphorical hole or repeating cycle, rather than an occasional ‘bleed through’ that can happen at present. In this way each personality can have small beneficial effects on other personalities that form part of a greater self, changing in any given moment. I don’t think it would eradicate Karma per say, forgiveness is the ‘go to’ on that one. So now our humble neuron connected in the transparent brain has gone from within a 3D model to multi-dimensional in terms pathways and connections. I think this is an interesting rabbit hole to explore for the future of human space travel, utilising thought form energy rather than a physical ship to survey and gain knowledge.
Switching up to the level of the planet, there would also be evolution taking place. There was a period where I devoured the reading material of Alfred Watkins and his idea of a network of ‘Leys’ across the landscape, then went out to explore them, armed with my OS map and sighting compass. Although current research has associated these lines of sight marked with ancient monuments, with death roads (where the bodies of recently departed were put on carts and travelled to a burial place) , it may well turn out that they form a energy channels that allow for a planetary ‘neural grid’ to be in place. In addition to Leys as energy channels, consider coordination points, invisible physical locations around the globe, that serve to allow additional energy into our system, only opening when concentrations of energy build up. Once the locations have been established through mathematical deduction rather than physical observation, thoughts can be sent, emphasised by feelings containing emotional intensity that enable physical structures to be infused with this energy. These points intersect other realities, a form of invisible power plant channelling energy. At present there is a mantra popular about getting your money to work for you, how about getting your thoughts and feelings to work for you (and the rest of humanity)?
As a post script, I would like to add that it is all well and good to develop mental images accompanied by strong emotion to form a blueprint, yet the intent to which it is put is key. So many advancements in technology have birthed through the race to have a military edge over a competitor or enemy, is that really how far we have progressed ethically? Nervous Musing indeed.
